Cancellation Policy
At Tours Experiencia Maya, we strive to offer you the greatest flexibility possible. The following policies apply to all confirmed reservations for our tourism services in Yucatan.
1. Policy Scope
These conditions apply exclusively to reservations that have been confirmed and validated through our official WhatsApp channel or in person at our office.
2. Cancellation & Deposits
There are no refunds under any circumstances. Deposits and payments made are non-refundable. This applies regardless of the reason for cancellation by the client. The no-refund policy exists to protect the operational costs of organization, supplier bookings, and logistics generated from the moment of confirmation.
Deposit: A 50% deposit of the total cost is required to confirm the reservation, or full payment. Details regarding the date and method of settling the remaining balance are specified during the WhatsApp quoting process.
3. Changes & Rescheduling
Date change requests are subject to availability and weather conditions. Tours Experiencia Maya will do its best to accommodate new dates at no additional cost, provided sufficient notice is given and no charges have already been incurred from external suppliers.
No show: If the client fails to appear without prior notice at the agreed point and time, the service will be considered rendered with no right to rescheduling or refund.
4. External Factors & Force Majeure
In the event of cancellation or suspension of the tour due to causes beyond the client's control and outside the company's control (adverse weather conditions, official closure of archaeological or natural zones, force majeure contingencies, etc.), rescheduling of the service will be offered.
The period to request rescheduling is 6 months to 1 year from the date of the unforeseen event. Exact conditions, dates, and availability will be communicated at the time and are subject to the company's available resources.
5. Refunds
As stipulated, no refunds exist for any confirmed and paid reservation, whether in full or partially.
