A 50% deposit or the full amount confirms the booking, and the rest is settled on the day. Here is each route, what is paid separately and what is never charged online.
How it works
To confirm a booking you pay at least 50% of the tour, or the full amount. The rest is settled on the day of departure. If you need an invoice, ask at the time of booking.
The options

If you are travelling from abroad
If your bank does not operate here, it can be sorted. The usual route is a PayPal deposit with the balance in cash on the day of the tour, but it is not the only one: tell us how you would rather pay and we will look at it.
Two practical notes: it is worth carrying some cash in pesos for entrance fees and stalls, and currency exchange is usually better downtown than at the airport. More on that in Merida airport.
What is paid separately
The tour price covers what the catalogue says. What it does not cover are official access fees, paid at the ticket office at each site because they are set by INAH or the state government, not by the agency:
- Entry to archaeological sites — Chichen Itza, Uxmal, Tulum.
- Entry to some cenotes and to the Cacao Museum, on the Uxmal tour.
- Entry to Las Coloradas, on the Las Coloradas and Rio Lagartos tour.
- Lunch, on the tours that do not include it, such as the beach ones.
- Drinks, on several departures.
How much each one costs is written out tour by tour in the catalogue, before you book. Bring that amount in cash: ticket offices do not always take cards.
Prices for nationals and foreign visitors
Most tours have a single price for everyone. The Mayan Train Experience is the exception, at $1,650 MXN for nationals and $1,800 MXN for foreign visitors, because the train ticket itself carries different rates.
Separately, official entrance fees at archaeological sites do distinguish between Mexican residents and foreign visitors. That is set by the authorities, not by us; if you are a Mexican resident, bring ID to prove it.
Cancellations and refunds
The terms are in the cancellation policy, which is the governing document. In practice: tell us as early as possible on the same WhatsApp thread. Rescheduling with notice is nearly always possible.
Invoicing
Ask when booking, not afterwards, sending the tax details along with the request.
