Where they come from

The photographs illustrating the Yucatan guides come from Wikimedia Commons. That source was chosen over a generic stock library for a concrete reason: every file on Commons carries verifiable licence and authorship, and without that you cannot publish someone else's photograph.

Only files published under CC0, public domain, CC BY or CC BY-SA are used. Any image with a different licence, or without a clear one, is discarded however good it is.

How they are credited

Each photograph carries its authorship and licence directly beneath the image, on the page where it appears, and also appears in the table below with a link to the original file.

Images were resized and converted to WebP so pages load quickly. None was cropped or altered in content.

The catalogue photos are separate

The images of the tours, the home page and the "Real experiences" gallery belong to Tours Experiencia Maya and are not part of this list. The same goes for the review photographs, which belong to the people who published them on their Google profile.
