Cenote tour from Mérida: Santa Bárbara

An unparalleled circuit visiting four spectacular cenotes in a single day.

Four cenotes in the same park, with an à la carte meal included and two small towns along the way. Inside the park you reach the cenote area by bicycle or by little train, and from there everything is walkable: none of them is more than five minutes from the next.

  • Late risers: the schedule is 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

    Acanceh

    approx. 15 – 30 min

    Small town with a little ruin in the centre for photos. Anyone who wants to climb it pays the fee separately.

    Eknakán

    approx. 10 – 15 min

    Short stop to see and photograph its Gothic church.

    Santa Bárbara cenotes

    1 h at each cenote + 1 h lunch

    On arrival you get the life jackets and choose a bicycle or the little train to reach the cenote area, where the four cenotes and the restaurant with the included meal are.

How many cenotes are visited?
All four in the Santa Bárbara park, with around one hour at each one.
Is there much walking between cenotes?
No. Inside the cenote area each one is less than a five-minute walk from the next.
How do I book?
Choose the departure, message us on WhatsApp and confirm by paying at least 50% of the tour. The rest is settled on the day. You can also book in person at our office on Calle 61.
Which payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer, OXXO deposit or credit and debit card through a secure link. Nothing is charged on the website and no card details are requested here.
Where does the tour leave from?
From downtown Mérida. The exact spot and time are confirmed when you book, as they change with the route and the group that day.
Can I change the date?
We can reschedule at no extra cost if you let us know early enough and there is availability. No refunds are issued: see the full cancellation policy.
Are there English-speaking guides?
Most departures have bilingual Spanish–English guides. For other languages, let us know in advance.
